I prefer to go it alone. I don't mind being doted upon by a friend because my friend's usually know how much to dote. Oh, and I usually go to work lol. Today is my day off.

For what amount of money (if any) would you consider appearing on a reality TV show? Which one?

None, unless it was my own reality show! I think I would call it something along the lines of Deputy Dobbin: Deadly Traffic Violations. I would go around arresting bad drivers. Naturally, they would try and drive away, but then I'd have to use my bat, handcuff 'em and deliver them to the police station. Then the cliffhanger of Season 1, I get arrested for aggravated assault and battery.

Season 2 would have me in jail and you get to see my life in prison, and then me taking anger management classes with the fellow inmates.

Season 3, I'd be back out on the streets for good behaviour, and I'd be back arresting traffic violaters, but this time, I'd have a crew!

DVD extras would consist of bonus footage, Season 2's DVD would have a homemade rap video from prison, as well as me being served by Mike Myers's lawyers for ripping off his rap scene in Goldmember. The case would be dropped because I tell them I promise not to air that segment.

I've only thought up to season 3.

I think I might have too much time on my hands.

So I went to the university yesterday to visit a Nano friend and it felt like memory lane for me being back at the university. Crowded in quad because of the big Week of Welcome. We ended up meeting another nano friend and another guy and we all went for a drink. While on the way, some people were handing out Maynards candy. That morning, I had two espressos at like 7am. Luckily for me, the buzz was wearing off around 11am, but I told myself not to get the candy because if I got the candy I knew I would start eating it. Like I had the munchies or something. So I kept saying to myself "Don't take the candy, don't take the candy, don't take the candy," and what do I do? I end up taking the candy. They gave me three small packages so I started chowing down! One after another while we headed into the Student Union Building to get a beverage. Everyone got something different. I got a blended Iced Mocha. Mocha, chocolate and more importantly, caffeine. I already had two espressos, so the last thing I needed was more caffeine! Boy was it good though! I stopped with the Maynards after eating the second package. I almost felt sick. Two small packages, but I ate them within 5 minutes!

Afterwards, we all departed and I stuck around to look at my old place. Where I used to go to school. Being in CAB reminded me of lonely lunches. Just sitting there by myself having pizza. I remember that. The funny thing is yesterday I felt more like I belonged there than I did years ago. Didn't feel like an outsider. I even got myself a Gateway before I headed home.

My favorite place still has to be HUB mall. Most of my good memories are in there. That's where Rutherford Library is. 5th floor. That's where all the literature is! I used to do that in between classes sometimes. Just browse through all the books. I couldn't believe they had all those authors there. Shakespeare, Philip Larkin, William Carlos Williams.

If you told me back then that I'd be where I am right now and happy, I wouldn't have believed you.

Newspaper Carrier. It was alright. My sister talked me into it saying newspaper carriers make tips. We made 0 dollars in tips and eventually I ended up doing a lot of the legwork due to worms being out on the street after it rains.

So I'm reading this book called Breathers by S.G. Browne. What an amazing book! Someone on the 50bookchallenge who had read it said it reminded him (or her) of Fight Club. I've never read Fight Club, only seen the movie, but it does feel similar. It also feel like something I would write, except this guy does a better job. It's about zombies. More about this one zombie who is trying to find his place in the world. It's dark, but it's hilarious too. So many good lines. There's a past interview of S.G. Browne in Niteblade. I'm hoping it's still there.

oooh, I found a good line, and it won't spoil the book either: "Halloween is coming, which seems more fitting than in years past. After all, it's not like I need a costume anymore."

...Sorry, I couldn't stop laughing. Can't wait to finish this, this guy's just brilliant :D

Book 5, the Order of the Phoenix. Lots of emotion. It felt like the climax of the series with Harry screaming all the time. The last page of my book was my favorite.

Book 7 was okay, not the big bang I thought it would be, but it did close off the series nicely. It's definitely a lot different than the previous six books.

So yes, I'm going with Book 5, and I love the cover :).

I'm craving Iced Tea, but I don't have any. I could go over to Walmart since it is open 24 hours but then it's still dark out there and I don't want to get jumped by who knows what. I guess it's safer just to stay indoors for a bit. I'm wondering if I should make some hot tea and just put it in the fridge. Might not be good. Meh, I'll try it. Least I'll get a caffeine fix. It's 5 in the morning, so I'm not exactly ready to coffee it up just yet since I might go back to bed. I was awake at 4:30 in the morning, craving iced tea and just drank some water instead. Before I woke up, I dreamed I was in the mall looking for a bottle of iced tea. That was when the mall was worth going to, but now I'm looking over my shoulder for the boys in blue who are going to arrest me. Of course, they wouldn't do that. They'd just say hello and move along, or maybe they wouldn't say anything.

My water's boiling, so I'll just put my teabag in my cup and wait for a few minutes. I'm still hungry after two hotdogs. I'm done all my Pop Tarts, otherwise I'd have those. It really sucks working the morning shift because if I didn't, I'd just head down to Walmart a few hours later and get some Pop Tarts. I don't even have to worry about going to a cash register if I don't want to. I can use those self-serve ones. They're actually really easy to use.

Well, off to have another hotdog or bed or something.

My sleeping bag got ruined in the wash. No idea how, though I should've suspected something when it didn't fit so easily in the washing machine. I really had to stuff it in there. After coming home from Walmart, the cycle was done, and part of the bag is ripped and it's not a small rip either. I was thinking to myself "what are those white fluffy things that look like stuffing?" It's the inside of the sleeping bag! I didn't pay too much for it, so it's not that bad, but I'm going to miss the old sleeping bag.

I feel so much better after my camping trip. It was exactly what I needed. It was alright heading back to work. The best part was finding out I have Wednesday off. I could use it for a nice transition back into non-camping life. I woke up Monday morning and almost felt like I was back in that tent. Then today I woke up at 6:30am. I haven't taken a nap yet. I might a bit later before work.

Work yesterday went by fast which is the way I wanted it, and I got to tell my co-worker how my camping trip went minus all the really good stuff. I mean I told her about the hiking and the hotdogs, but nothing about how wonderful the company was. Which is why I went in the first place, to get back in touch with everyone and to recharge myself. I am feeling more energetic than I have in the past few weeks. I did the 100pushup challenge yesterday and that was tough because I haven't done it for weeks, and I started with the week I left off at. The minimum pushups to do was 32 and I made it to 33, but I ended up almost collapsing on the floor. I had to lay on the floor for maybe 5 minutes before I could get up. I never knew how important my arms were to help me off the floor. I'm hoping I can do Day 2 of Week 4 tomorrow.

I got a haircut today which I had put off yesterday because I had meant to go yesterday. So I've gone from a scraggly camper to a polished gentleman, maybe.

Tomorrow I might actually go see Transformers. So many people have been telling me how good it is and that I should go see it, so I guess I will go. I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the first Transformers was or it would be exactly the same.

It's great to be back though, and I'm trying to get back into my normal routine again.
